In 1991 the illustration agency was founded as Studio Leon, registered as an agency that focusses on illustrations and cartoons. It was at that time that Leon started illustrating with traditional techniques such as acrylic and oil paint. Nowadays orders are mainly delivered in digital illustration techniques. The possibilities for digital illustration techniques are endless. They can be copied and applied several times, with a consistent result.

Located in Venlo The Netherlands, the agency serves advertisement agencies, cultural events, publishers, government and gastronomy. Clients differ from big corporate companies to non-profit organisations. Studio Leon houses a book and puzzle publisher as well.
